Welcome to Placid Audiology
Independently owned, Independently operated
What does that mean to you?
As your local, professional audiology practice, Placid Audiology carries a variety of hearing aid makes and models from leading manufacturers, from entry level to high-end technology. All of the hearing instruments from Placid Audiology are professionally fit by a licensed Doctor of Audiology, have manufacturer warranties for repair and loss and damage, and local service.
We specialize in finding the right hearing aid for your hearing needs, lifestyle, AND budget. Hearing aids may be an appropriate solution for your hearing difficulties, but only after comprehensive diagnostic testing to rule out other medical conditions, can that be determined. Contact us to explore your options. Hearing aids are only one component of a comprehensive hearing health care plan.
We accept most major insurances as well as offer convenient payment options.
Insurance
Most insurance plans have at least some coverage for diagnostic services. Some insurance plans also offer a hearing aid benefit. We will help you navigate the often confusing world of health insurance.
